I think that Jake's favorite part about being back in Texas is High School football. Many of you who follow our blog are not from Texas and so let me fill you in on what Texas High School football is all about. When Friday finally arrives the entire town (at least here in Olney) is wearing their team colors and are making plans to attend the game. Once everyone arrives at the game they are ready to cheer and encourage their team. There are cow bells, fog horns and other loud noise makers in the spectators hands, and people don't use them sparingly! Even after the game is over many stay awake for the 11:30 High School football scores on the local news station, our house is no exception! If you are wanting to experience High School football at its best come visit us in Olney! Below are a couple of pictures of Katelynn during the Olney High School Homecoming festivities.
