Easter for us was so special for several reasons. We finally found a church that we truly feel comfortable in and know that it will be somewhere that we can get involved. The message and the singing was amazing and completely helped all of us remember the true reason for us celebrating Easter. The next of course was it was the first Easter Jake has got to spend with Katelynn since she was born. She has only been alive for two, but you know what I mean. The other wonderful thing was that had some great friends over for an Easter meal and were able to fellowship all afternoon. After we ate our meal we headed outside for Katelynn and David to have their egg hunt. Jake and I thought we would have a trial hunt so that Katelynn would have a better understanding of what she should do. She did AWESOME in the trial run but when the real deal came along she definitely did not bring her "A" game. She got sidetracked by the bubbles and wouldn't do anything except say "bubbles" and point at them until we got them out. We stayed outside for quite a while but the temperature starting falling and then it started sprinkling so we had to call it a day. All in all it was one of the best Easters I have ever had.
Katelynn found her Easter basket as soon as she woke up and made a huge mess.
She makes this really weird noise and this is the face that she makes while doing it.
We tried to get some good pictures right after church but Katelynn was ready for her nap. This was the best her Katelynn and her daddy.
Our great group of friends that we celebrated the day with.
