Le Bear is the place for me...

Jake and I have been terrible about getting out and seeing all the amazing sites that Tennessee has to offer so we decided to go and visit Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge is the home of the legendary "DollyWood". We didn't go the the amusement park because it was 20 degrees and snowing so we didn't think Katelynn would like that much! The best part was that Jake planned this trip for us while he was still in Afghanistan and he even rented us an amazing cabin that was up the mountains. The name of it was "Le Bear" and it overlooked a beautiful ravine that was full of trees. It was breathtaking to watch the snow fall from the huge windows off of the living room. Katelynn loved being there and wanted to explore when it warmed up but we couldn't do too much because there wasn't a whole lot of land around us. Even though it was snowing we decided to go into Gatlinburg so we could take Katelynn to the Aquarium. It was really crowded so she like some of it but some times she was frightened by the crowds. Her two favorite things were the moving sidewalk (that she got on and off literally a hundred times) and the fish tank that you could get inside and look at people. Sorry there are so many pictures but I am behind on blogging so I am putting several pictures at once.

I am usually the one taking pictures so I am just putting this one. The only significance is that as you can tell, Katelynn wanted her daddy!

Here is the infamous moving sidewalk. She neglected to even see the sharks that were swimming all around her!
