Are you looking at me?

So sorry for such a long lapse in between posts. Katelynn has been going through a "clingy" stage so my blogging has been put the wayside so that I can get my house clean while she is napping instead of getting a blog in. We are back nonetheless and am so excited about this one. A couple of weekends ago we had some very special guests come all the way from Texas to visit us! Jake's older brother, Weldon, his wife, Leah, and our precious niece, Ellen. They were able to come on Thursday and stayed until Sunday so we had a ton of time getting to hang out.

Those of you who only have one child or remember when you had only one child and how territorial they are with their mommy and daddy. I was very worried how Katelynn was going to react to Ellen being here and her having to share the attention. God tells us not to worry and once again He is totally right! Katelynn did so well with Ellen and even shared toys with her and also her milk! Ellen is the most "go with the flow" little gal and that made things so wonderful because she would just go wherever we wanted to take her! It was so nice to have all three of them here and we also got to sneak in a little date while Chelsea (my babysitter) watched the girls for us.

The best part of the trip was the realization to all of us that we are finally going to all (Dave and Ashley too!) be able to get together whenever we want because we are finally going to be close! So, thanks Weldon, Leah and Ellen for coming to Tennessee and we can't wait to see you again in September when we are back in the great state of TEXAS!!!!!
